I've been looking for something like this for a long time because, like most, I wanted to add something to store-bought magnesium hydroxide to use as a deodorant. I'm so sensitive to store-bought regular deodorants and am struggling to find an effective one (emphasis on this as I stink pretty easily if I'm not relentless in observing the problem) that's easy to make and easy to use. I've been using natural deodorants for what feels like forever because I seem to be very sensitive to sodium bicarbonate deodorants. Magnesium hydroxide is a great solution, but applying it to your armpits after a shower is a nightmare. This makes it a lot easier, more like a regular application roller (MoM is so runny you still have the same drying out issues etc. You could try thickening it up somehow and then try it in one of these videos). on containers, I just haven't tried it yet.) Since store-bought milk of magnesia contains sodium hypochlorite, I figured the salt already present would help the essential oils stay in suspension. So when it arrived I opened one of the bottles, then added MoM, then a few drops of various essential oils I use in my other natural deodorant recipes, added more magnesium, then screwed the roll cap back on and shook it. It is very good. It seems to be working beautifully. One thing to note, while giving this 5 stars, it seems to me that the plastic used in it isn't exactly what I would consider durable. Just my first impressions as this is my first purchase of this product and I've only been using it for a few days. So there's a chance they could break easily (I'm a totally clumsy person who always drops things, which worries me a bit). But that fifth star for the great price, the fact that you get several of these handy little containers at once and it looks like I can easily refill them for a long time, making my ingredients inexpensive and easy to prepare. what makes my natural deodorant that I use in it, the easy application and cheap price of the roll on bottles are worth it even if the clunky old one keeps falling and breaking for the next few months!
