Seriously, there are A LOT of knife sets at Revain and it's always difficult to choose the right one for the kitchen. After buying many cheap sets and getting frustrated with them, I decided to put some extra money into one to see if it would compromise the quality. I've never paid that much for a set of knives before, but I've never had quality knives either, so it was a very nice new experience for me. Being French, I love to cook and often, and the quality of my work depends in most cases on the quality of the "tools" I use to cook. Having a great knife set certainly goes a long way. Anyway, for people who like reviews that are to the point... GOOD 👍+ Buying a set of 13 knives plus 1 heavy duty scissors and 1 knife sharpener for the price (15 total + holding block of wood = set of 16 + The knives feel great are well balanced and seem to be made out of durable material a lot as the blades look like they could stay sharp forever + VERY sharp and will cut through almost anything + Nice looking laser engraved logo on each blade Kitchen decor + Each handle is made out of something called "pakkawood" which looks and feels very nice.+ Includes a pair of heavy-duty scissors that cut chicken bones like butter - knives can damage the slots in the tree if not carefully replaced. Verdict: the more often The more I use this set the more impressed I am All the knives I need are right here as well as the ones I never thought I would need Now it's time to start cooking delicious French food again! 👨‍🍳
