Does exactly what it should.
I had to set it up for use in the same room by covering the IR eye on my TV with a piece of tape on the back of the foil insulation, I placed the emitter between the IR eye and the foil To stop duplicating signals from the TV it worked great and increased the range of my IR remote to meet my need to overcome the inability of my universal remote which has a limited IR range. It was easy to use, easy to set up, and worked the first time. .
