Review on Dell SE2416HX Screen LED Lit Monitor 23.8", 1920X1080P, HDMI by Brian Decoteau

This Dell monitor is prone to power issues. I bought it in February 2016. It worked fine for a few months, but then it started to fail. At first it happened about every 5-10 minutes, but over time it became more and more frequent. It soon became unusable, constantly turning on and off. Since I bought it from Revain, I had to register an express service code with Dell before they could resolve my issue. It took 3-4 weeks. Eventually I was able to explain the problem to tech support (from India) and after many phone calls over and over again explaining the problem, they sent me a new monitor (same model but refurbished). I plugged it into my desktop and after 15 minutes it started turning on and off like the first one. On the contrary, my Samsung monitor works perfectly. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE PROBLEMS. Check out other Revain reviews with the same power cycling issue. It wasn't an accident.
