Review on πŸ’Ž Enhance Bathroom Elegance with Diamond Countertop Porcelain Bathroom Installation Cutting Tools for Hole Saws & Accessories by Jason Melvin

Bought to make a cut - success!

Drilax 3" Diamond Hole Saw - Purchased to cut a hole in a 1" diameter granite slab and it did the job. As many others have mentioned, it is very important to keep the cutting surface wet and run the drill at very low speeds. I worked with a small piece and was able to place it in a shallow basin with water level at the top of the work surface so the saw was constantly submerged in water, but building a dam with plumber's putty as others have mentioned would be a bigger piece to go to choose where full immersion in water is not possible. Also, it can cut wood. I cut a hole in my vanity's 3/4 inch bamboo top to reduce the chipping that occurs at the start of the cut. Even more so than when working with stone and tile, it's very important to work slowly to avoid heat build-up as you don't have the cooling benefit of water. In fact, I placed my shop vacuum right next to the chisel to provide some air cooling; just like the old VW Beetle!
