Anyhow, cut the clear plastic to the correct length and then remove it to the correct length and then make sure the FOUR contact points are in a line and you need to insert the LED connector under the tabs. found this too difficult and used a thin screwdriver to carefully bend the links just enough to advance the strip underneath and be in the right place to make contact when the clip is closed. Went through five before getting TWO LED strips to work as ONE. Leave a piece of tape away from the adhesive to help the thin strip stay stiff and encourage a better bond. Make sure the connection works before snapping the clamps into place.
