Preparing the LED strip is the hardest part. With a razor blade, it's easy to cut and slice through a strip of wire and then move on to the next cut. Works great. I've used it on two different lanes. It is important that the strips are aligned as shown in the picture. All four wires should be under the four metal lines in the connectors on either side. If not, it doesn't light up. Check immediately after connecting, plug it in to make sure it works properly on all colors. Make sure the sticky backing is stuck to the connector. I bought these thinking they would help me with 12v RGB analog light strip prototyping and they work great. To insert the LED strip, all you have to do first is slide the edges of the strip under the plastic tabs and the strip will mate nicely with the contact fingers.
