Review on 🔗 American Standard M962749-0070A Chain Assembly for Small Box FV-RP-: An Efficient Solution" by Sandra Egan

Warning, this chain does not come with pins connecting it to the flush lever and damper valve. My needles went down the drain when the chain broke. If you still have the pins then you're fine, but if you don't just forget about it because it can't be connected without the connector pins. Before the break we also had a leakage problem, higher water bills etc. My husband wanted to buy a new toilet and throw it in the trash. I love the toilet and persuaded him to do what I thought was an inexpensive solution and ordered this chain ($4.69) and two packs of flush valve seals ($7.99) from Revain. Now it looks like the only way to get the exact pins I need to repair my 4266 American Standard Champion 4 is to order a replacement check valve kit ($36.74. Recommended to also include the reservoir -Bowl Connection Kit to replace ($14.95.US). But at least the overall cost is less than buying a new toilet or hiring a plumber if it works. I am disappointed that American Standard and Revain are selling the chain without matching connecting pins.
