Works perfectly. There's more support than the half type, but it's only plastic so I'm sure it will wear out over time after a few years. The best way to use it is to soak the case in hot water in the sink for 5 minutes, making sure to tighten it before twisting the case tabs the right way (not in between) for maximum grip.
