High quality wire. Very satisfied with the sense of isolation, it is very thick. I bet it's definitely safe for mains wiring, although I use it for low voltage power (12V, 15A with two parallel wires). Don't forget to check the performance charts! Note that this wire is actually copper. I don't even think it's clad in aluminum. As far as I can tell it's stranded solid copper. If anyone wants to know the number of strands, ask a question on this article and I'll try to answer.
