High speed 4WD RC truck with single battery and smaller scale 1:18 for beginners and kids learning how to drive and run 4WD vehicles. The steering on the vehicle is very easy to control and the car tracks fairly straight when the steering trim is adjusted for neutral setting. They opted for a better motor brushless and a better single battery Li-Poly versus a dual Li-ion batteries.The steering is very easy to control and the throttle control has good low end range for training beginners and young kids. The smaller size presents less danger when running into something and causing damage as less mass imparts less force. The single battery is rated only at 850 mAh which is okay for the size of the vehicle, but don't expect much runtime past 20 minutes.I think it's worth repeating the steering is very smooth over the range and the throttle control has plenty of variability at the low end range allowing beginners to practice their driving skills without the car stalling. The vehicle is light enough with a strong enough motor to drift into corners, great for practicing racing around a track or a dirt field. The shocks are okay but don't have too much damping force so the car does bounce on uneven surfaces. Overall a good vehicle for teaching young kids on how to control a 4WD car and learning to drift into and out of corners.
