Advantages:1. It's huge. It is actually 15"x32" and is clearly visible in window 2. The remote control is a nice on/off device. There's also a manual switch on the back, but since mine is hanging 8 feet off the ground, the remote is fine.3. Being able to choose my own colors and lighting scheme is also a nice feature, although I doubt I'll use it.4. It looks really great hanging in the front window.5. Comes with a 3 year guarantee which I hope is a mark of quality I never have to deal with. Cons: 1. It's bright, but NOT as bright as the old neon sign it replaced. In direct sunlight it's noticeable that it's on, but that's because I already know it's on. I'm not sure if people could see anything from the street. I knew it was likely because an LED sign was never going to be as bright as a neon. I take a 1/8 inch piece of plywood, paint it black and place it behind the shield to see if that fixes the direct sunlight problem. 2. The operating instructions are clearly written, but contain many spelling mistakes. It may just be my pet peeve, but it's not usually what gives me confidence in the company as a whole. As I've always told my students, a red squiggle under a word doesn't mean you get bonus points for your spelling!
