Review on 🦕 3 Sprouts Kids Toy Chest - Dinosaur Storage Trunk for Boys and Girls Room: Organize Toys in Style! by Vanessa Carstens

I have ordered two of these for use in the home play areas (formerly called the living room and family room). We love the Sprouts 3 items - so cute but not too childish. The quality of this toy dresser is quite good, but there is one significant flaw that I had to fix myself. The lid falls straight into the chest if things aren't stacked to the top. Our toy chest isn't full (yet) and try as we might, we couldn't get the lid to stop falling into the chest. There should be a switch, velcro, or some sort of tie to keep it closed. I bought my own gag and sewed it on and it works great. See attached photo. It was difficult to sew on as there was thick cardboard underneath the fabric. I had to take a tiny nail and poke through the cardboard to line up all the holes the mug was attached to. I realize this was my own business, but it was necessary to keep our sanity - that flexible lid was driving us nuts! Our kids aren't old enough to grab the toy box like crazy, but I understand that it's a soft object that can only withstand a certain level of abuse. We will do everything in our power to avoid hitting them too hard and hope they stay with us for many years to come! Of course, you can't stuff in three times as many toys as it should fit and expect them to hold their shape (like one reviewer did - LOL!), but this holds a good amount of toys. And it's quite cheap, if necessary, you can buy two for overflow!
