They do what they are supposed to do but it is difficult to connect 3 panels to it without an extension cord. But it can still be done. The smaller the wire, the better the result. And you want all the panels to be on the same cable. In other words, you don't want to run 2 panels with extensions and 1 without extensions. Then you get less efficiency due to the extra wire.
