The flat part at the base between the "tweezers" looks like a guillotine! I pulled out a giant stem today to rearrange my aquarium and found that it was able to cut the plant skids (after a few hard closes) without having to pull the entire system out of the substrate. My previous scruffy dad didn't have this feature, so this was a welcome discovery. The pruning/pruning function works well on smaller pieces (stems, shoots, anubias leaf bases, guppy grass, etc.). However, this didn't work for the giant val leaves as they are too wide to fully fit the guillotine - I basically cut the same half in half until I gave up lol.
