I love these pillowcases. They are really dark blue. The other pictures from the reviews have me wondering what shade of blue they are exactly so I'm here to tell you they are indeed dark blue. All the tassels were intact and the covers fitted my 12" x 20" pillows perfectly. I bought these pillowcases for display purposes only and expected them to be used infrequently, but turns out I've used them a few times as lumbar support while lounging on the couch. They appear to be well made. I wouldn't consider them for households with small children or animals that might play or pull tassels if that's important to you. I also don't consider them "soft" by any means, but exactly what you'd expect from a linen textured fabric with a distressed design. I'm happy with my purchase and love how they accent my room.
