This cable is thinner and more flexible than CAT7 cable, so it's easier to route around a room. It is only slightly less expensive than comparable CAT7 cables on the market, though. The CAT6a and CAT7 spec's are similar except for the higher Mhz (500 vs 600) rating of the CAT7. Both will deliver 10 Gbps speeds over extended distances. The connectors for this cable release and engage easily, which is one thing I appreciate because many older connector designs are a pain to release. The patch cable included in this set is only about 21" tip to tip, and is too short for any of my applications, so it doesn't add value to the cable set for me. But a good, high speed 50' cable alone is worth the current price of around $19.
