I'm 5'11" and usually wear a size XL/XXL for the top and a size 16-18 for the bottom. I bought the XXL and it fit great (some Reviews said it was large. I didn't think so. It's baggy and a bit long in the sleeves but that doesn't bother me. The cut is loose in the chest and waist which I like. I got this rash guard on a weekend trip to the Worn to the beach and 2 river trips.My husband (who tans naturally) got sunburnt on one of his trips and I had no redness at all so this should be effective.Overall a great purchase!
