first. I hate the fact that the description says it prints as easy as PLA. It is not. You must get the exact, perfect, and magical combination of nozzle temp, bed temp, ambient temp, case temp, fan speed, bed prep, retract speed, and all other possible ambient conditions and correct settings, or you won't even be able to get the first layer . This isn't at all like PLA, where you can get an acceptable print with a fairly wide range of settings. If your machine and environment are right on the magic spot, it might be easy, but if not, PETG is not for beginners and you'll be chasing the magic combination for days to even get a usable print. Also, and more importantly, this (like most petgs) doesn't even stick to itself at the specified nozzle temp. In fact, I can't get it to stick to any of 6 different beds with several different bed preps below 245, and I can't even get it to stick to itself under 235 in a very hot closet. . In fact, it takes over 255 to get an impregnation, which is above the safe temperature for most beginner Bowden tube machines. It's just PETG, right? Seriously, if the description doesn't say anything about the brightness and print temperature of 210-230, then the description and the coil say so. I would probably give this an average of 4 stars. However, it clearly exceeds the printing comfort and temperatures that are safe for beginner machines. So two stars for a description so wrong I figured I could print it on my entry-level machine with a reasonable margin of success. If you are a professional with PETG you will probably find the thread acceptable. Each little coil is well-sucked, wound smoothly, and I hear minimal pops of moisture.
