The aeration function eliminated the need to buy a compressor at first, but over time it had to be purchased, because. the filter clogged within a week, and the aeration essentially stopped working due to insufficient flow. The fish were ill, and they were dying, it was worth missing the absence of bubbles for a day. Installing the compressor at the same angle with the filter created conditions under which water simply flowed out of the air suction hose for aeration. When the filter is clogged, the water flow weakens, the divider catches the compressor bubbles and rushes them along with the water into the suction hose, which is extended outside the aquarium. So already poured out twice in a bucket of water, which is not cool. I eventually cut the hose so that the tip sticks out above the water.
