They charge quickly and I use them for about five or six hours every night, they need to be charged about every third day. The only thing I don't like is that charging is awkward as the spot to connect the charger is recessed at the bottom of the candle. It's difficult to grab the cork to pull it out, and she pulled out the bottom of one of the candles. If I pull harder I might break the wires. Every time I pick up this candle the bottom falls down and shakes so I have to glue it on or something. If you turn them on and hit the timer button, they'll turn on and run for the same amount of time every night, so that's pretty cool.
