This is a good decoration for the Christmas tree. They are one sided which seems to be a minor issue but I don't know why as most flat jewelry is one sided. You can indicate the year of manufacture or the manufacturer on the back. My daughter made them with me and we covered them in decorative glitter so we can give them away on Christmas cards in the mail and the beads won't fall off and people can use them year after year. They are not intended as keychains, but as ornaments for Christmas trees that do not have to be made of hard and durable materials. In fact they are more durable than expected and I buy more
