These stools are beautiful, easy to assemble and very comfortable. The pillows are a bit softer than I would like, so if you sit for a long time, your butt hurts a bit. But they look great and have a nice appearance. They are much lighter than I expected so the wood used is not very dense. One of the stools had a small tear in the paneling, but nothing major. They are assembled with high quality and long screws so I assume they will hold up well over time. EDIT: Since someone "liked" my review, here's a biennial update: These stools are still fine. I assembled them with some wood glue on each screw, which probably helped. The small "plugs" of the screw holes popped out after a few weeks, but applying wood glue to them fixed the problem. These stools only get occasional use but still feel great and look brand new. Pillows are like new. We are still very happy with that.
