Sparkling diamonds scratch the skin. This is problematic for routines that use clocks. If your child just plays/stumbles on the floor then this is a great swimsuit and I would highly recommend it. However, anything applied to sparkling diamonds with little pressure will cause long scratches on the skin. If you can find a swimsuit from this brand that doesn't have sequins in the front, I would recommend it.
