We found this small, inexpensive transmitter to have a range of about a block in all directions (about 600 feet). It can be hung on the belt or on the wrist. The supplied lavalier microphone does not distort the speaker's voice. In addition to the microphone port, there is a port that allows you to input music and other audio files that will be streamed to other devices such as Android or iPhone. The quality of the original recording is not lost. We are using three of these transmitters for outdoor worship services during the pandemic: one for the pastor, one for another speaker such as a liturgist, and one for pre-recorded music (hymns, hymn, prelude, postlude, etc.). The transmitter is very light and due to its size, the speakers do not have to be in one place. Initially, we considered much more complex broadcast options, but we're very happy with this simple and effective setup.
