Review on Manfrotto 237HD Heavy Duty Super Clamp by Alex Solano

I bought this with the intention of using it to support the iPad mini. I bought an iPad case with a tripod mount and tried this flexible mount to hold it in place. However, this didn't turn out well for me as the intended use is for photography. I have changed my original rating from 2 stars to 4. I thought it would be a great idea to put it on the headboard for reading or watching movies at night before bed, but had several issues with that flexible arm. But depending on your intended use of this flexible lever, they could very well be PRO. First, it's so heavy that it can sag under its own weight if not used strictly upright. - When buying 21 inch. seemed large, but since its strength lies in vertical placement, it is too short to create arches to support horizontal weight. To achieve a comfortable viewing distance from the iPad, the flex arm was mounted high on a vertical corner. to compensate for some sagging. Unfortunately, this puts the iPad right over your head. - The finished outer metal is "wrapped" around the core, which can be "unwrapped" by bending/flexing the arm. I had to bend my arm like in the picture which caused the arm to lose strength and sag. - Difficult to get a bend radius greater than 160 degrees, you could probably do it, but there is a risk of it bending or splitting. wrap. The strength of this flexible arm lies in its ability to carry a lot of vertical weight, however your mileage may vary and may work better for your application.
