A few months ago I installed the original replacement on the passenger door. This time I figured I'd save money by installing this motor for the driver's side. When I tested it it worked, but the next day the door wouldn't open. I somehow managed to open the door panel far enough with the door closed to manually open the door. I have found that the actuator gets stuck in the rear position which makes the door behave as if it is locked. I checked all the levers and reassembled everything with the door panel removed. The actuator gets stuck in the open position every 5-10 door openings. It's very possible I only got it once, but the experience seems to conform to the "you get what you pay for" principle. I'll happily pay double to get an OEM part to make sure it works.
