Review on Motor Trend CC 342 LOCK Universal by Jeff Talcott

WARNING TO BUYERS: Thought I would be happy, but here's what happened. Really poor quality product, thought it looked great and fit well. I report two problems: First, the quality of the product. I bought the product in May 2016. I only used it a few times until I went on a 6 week trip in August 2017. When I got home I found that the product had gone bad in the sun and rain! It fell apart and shattered into shreds (see photo). I could deal with seams ripping or elastics fraying, but the actual product says it's WEATHER PROTECTION! Well it's a joke. I called the company and they were absolutely not interested in helping me. They said there's no guarantee. I then called Revane who was kind enough to give me a gift card. But why would Revain have a Custom Auto Crews bug? BAD COMPANY and BAD PRODUCT. Don't buy this unless you just want to buy an overpriced room dust cover. The second problem - I had to understand that I was dealing with a shabby company. I ordered the product online through Amazon but when I clicked 'buy' it went through but I was charged shipping costs! This doubled the product price. I live in Hawaii and sometimes expect this, but I was not given the option to accept or decline this additional fee. I immediately went in to cancel the order but the company said the order had been placed and I couldn't cancel it. I really wanted the product but I had to call Revain at the time and ask them to stop the order. Bottom line: A crappy company with a crappy product and they don't stand up for their job. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER!
