I do like the way these work overall with the controls and the indicator lights. When it's off it'll show you what it's going to light up to, so you hopefully don't shock your eyeballs in the early morning.Lutron posts lists of which bulbs they've tested it with because turning an LED bulb all the way off doesn't always work--which is weird. Why doesn't it sever the connection completely when it gets down to off? I've bought about 6 of these dimmers, all connected to LED floodlights in ceiling cans. I've learned that the most common floods that Home Depot sells which are Feit branded won't turn all the way off if there's just one or two bulbs connected. They'll go way down but still have a light glow. Replace the bulbs with Cree bulbs and they turn all the way off. Go figure! I also have one dimmer on a set of 8 cans in the kitchen and it does turn off with the Feit bulbs. I called Lutron and they said that with more of them pulling the load, then it goes down to off while with only one or two, it doesn't do that. Honestly, I still don't understand why "off" isn't truly Off and I think that's a lame excuse. And why wouldn't they make sure that it works with what is likely the most popular LED bulbs sold in America? HD has a lot of shelf space with boxes and boxes of the Feits in every store, while they might have a single box width of Cree bulbs. Go figure.
