Review on Wisepick Injector R 134A Quick Coupler by Jeff Bridgewater

Good product - does the job

I bought this product from Revain: Most commonly used oil injector:1. You have a leak. You want to add some oil and/or UV dye. Or: 2. You flushed and refilled the system, but did not add enough oil. Small oil and refrigerant cans work, but are less versatile and more problematic to use. This tool now comes with instructions. The mark is engraved. Reliable quality, no reason to think it won't last 20 years or more. Advanced instructions: 1. Start the car air conditioner and set it to maximum cooling. Leave the door open and/or turn on the heater in the car to keep the system running at full power.2. Adjust the injector for just over the amount of oil you intend to put in and remove the top. Fill in oil suitable for your refrigerant up to the bottom of the thread.3. Screw in the top and screw in the threaded plug until oil comes out of the hose and forces the air out. If necessary, attach an R-134 adapter or other type (not supplied).4. Connect to the low pressure service port. If possible, hold the case over the port during the injection to prevent any remaining air bubbles from getting inside.5. Slowly screw in the plunger until all the oil has been injected. Spend about a minute - the oil needs to dissolve in the refrigerant.6. Separate - done! Wipe off the oil on the nozzle. The box is very sturdy and will be a good storage place to protect it from dirt.
