This is a sturdy chair. I recommend hiring a second person to help hold the pieces together so you can keep things together. I've certainly made the effort to do spontaneous twists to hold things together so I can put things back together. The lumbar support is excellent, although you can put a pillow on the bottom if you like a very soft butt. It's not the quietest piston chair I've ever had. It creaks when I recline, but that may be a bug caused by my random one-handed assembly. If you are unsure if this chair is for you, I recommend finding a store that lists it and using it to make your final decision.
