Best ferret cage, no need to look elsewhere

I too was one of those skeptical/stingy buyers as I prepared to bring the ferrets home. But in general, unless you can afford the best for your pet, you probably can't afford the future either. free roaming. This assumes you've protected ferrets throughout their range, they're potty trained, and you probably have a bell collar so they're easy to find. • On the cage, from packaging to assembly: the packaging is hard to miss. It's branded right onto the giant white box. Beware of thieving neighbors. Assuming they're strong enough and have a vehicle to pull this thing out because it's HEAVY. Despite being weak and pushing the box across the floor into place, there was no rumbling or rattling so the packaging is at least somewhat reliable/soft. property unit. The packaging says no tools are needed, but it's best to have a hard rubber mallet and your own drill handy. Made in China and the production has nothing to do with it. The metal is tough and heavy, but there are a few kings and curves. The handlebar flex that many complain about is cosmetically very minimal. The bends you'll be concerned with are the bends in the 'connected' cage walls where you lock things in place. A firm, solid swing or two and it all came together perfectly for me. Package instructions are simple, maybe TOO simple. Just pay attention to the pictures and things will click in your head as they should. Total build time for a 5'4" weakling? 50-70 minutes. Raised floor. • Functionality: Very spacious. After the build was complete, I stepped back and was surprised. Two ferrets fit comfortably in a single floor. The doors to this thing is a gift of the sky. Everything just slides out and you have 100% access to everything even with a door open on the floor. The latches work well and I wouldn't expect a child under the age of 5 to be able to find a way to open those Door. Open it. The distance between the bars is large for many lockable panels, you can slip your fingers or a treat between them, but ferrets cannot move their heads between the bars or pinch their limbs (curious cats may slam ferrets through the bars).• Personalization: shelves and layout format rather monotonous, but given the space left and the grid that allows objects to be hung cht, the possibilities are almost unlimited. There are no limits to your creativity. • Mobility: it's on mission saws that are blocked, so that's a plus. The two cage compartments lift/pull out of each other and out of the cage base, so you never have to carry a massive tower. If you're worried about a child or large pet dropping the crate, attach it to a wall or make it heavier. • Attractive: Only dark metal finish available. If you want white or lighter color. spray yourself? Just be careful of chemicals, smells, etc. The pros far outweigh the cons here. The biggest complaint I've seen in most reviews is that the cage's plastic liners are bent or cracked. Come on guys we've all seen the delivery behind the scenes, it has to happen. If you don't want the pack to go any HIGHER I would go to Petco or even an outlet and buy a replacement dog crate floor, just measure accordingly. Or you can contact customer service and see if things like this get resent to you.
