Review on 🏷️ Hunter 25146: 24-Inch Standard Extension Downrod in Sleek Black by Charles Salgado

This is a good bottom pole when you need to increase the distance from the ceiling to the fan motor. I'm rating it a 4 because I found it difficult to fully seat the threaded part into the motor bore. The lower shank has a tapered threaded end and over-expands in the latter part of the insert. I couldn't turn the rod another half turn to fully open the safety pin hole. As a result, I had to enlarge the hole in the lower link with a drill for this pin so that the pin could be inserted. Pen solves this problem. Most other drop bars I've seen don't have a taper on the threaded end.
