Worked professionally with timbered houses for about a year. I developed carpal tunnel in my right wrist while rocking the mini sled while laying the hardwood floor. Now I make my own hands and sometimes I earn extra money. I bought this sexy 28oz hammer from Amazon after seeing a lighter one in the store. I recently used it to frame two walls and build shelves that are 12 feet long and about 8 feet high. This hammer hammered every nail with ease and I had no pain in my wrist or hand! I don't know how they did it, but this hammer is GREAT at reducing impact on the hand and wrist. I told my wife I wanted to have sex with a hammer (just kidding, but I actually said that). Before the pin caught on the metal ring of your tool belt. I use an old cheap belt. I'm right-handed, so I hold the hammer loop right-of-center across my right cheek. Never had a problem. I throw the hammer up and slide it back in with ease. Again and again. :pThe magnetic nail guide/holder works, but takes a little getting used to. You can't just smack it in there. Gently touch the enlarged nail for the first time to fix it, then pop it. ;) Anyway, I really love this hammer and I highly recommend it.
