Great product, but everything smells strongly of chemicals.

These canvas bags are of excellent quality and true to size (4.5" x 8" fill space). However, I ordered 6 packs of 10 each and they all smell very strongly of chemicals (petrol/industrial plant). I'm not sure if it comes from the warehouse where they are made or packaged, or from the chemicals used in the shipping process to prevent mold, bugs, etc. from China. I don't know how to get rid of the smell and I'm really tired of using them to hygienically store my COVID-19 masks.
