The air vents on my Mini Cooper are tilted backwards and when I put the thing on my phone leans back too far. If the clamp screw was round instead of wing nut shaped I could probably get it to work better, but the clamp screw gets in the way. I understand the wing nut design makes tightening easier but limits where the gizmo can be installed. Or, if I had a machine with big vents, that would probably work great, but since everything is so tightly packed in the Mini, it didn't really fit. The magnet is great. It really keeps the phone in the holder.
