They are almost white and woven much more densely than normal flour bag towels. They are beautifully lined and have an unobtrusive loop at the back for hanging a towel on a hook. I measured the size before washing in cold water - 35x39. After - 32x36. I washed a towel in hot water, shrinkage is about the same. These towels are actually better than the ones I usually use to dry dishes, but they are so well made I'll keep them for myself.
