High-quality kitchen and dining room towels

They are almost white and woven much more densely than normal flour bag towels. They are beautifully lined and have an unobtrusive loop at the back for hanging a towel on a hook. I measured the size before washing in cold water - 35x39. After - 32x36. I washed a towel in hot water, shrinkage is about the same. These towels are actually better than the ones I usually use to dry dishes, but they are so well made I'll keep them for myself. Reports of their suitability for embroidery brought back…

Good towels with occasional fabric flaws.

I bought these towels to embroider. These are good heavy towels made of 100% cotton (130 thread count), straight cut and hemmed edge. I will buy again. However, I make them for resale and the first towel I opened in the packaging had an error. There is a small hole in the fabric where I stitched in hopes it would hide and mend the error, but it didn't. I can't sell this particular towel but the rest must be sold. I was hoping to find a seller and leave a question about replacing a towel, but…

What a disappointment

This has been recommended by Wirecutter as the best kitchen towel for flour bags. I looked here at Revain, saw a 4 1/2 star rating with over 1500 reviews and bought without hesitation. I washed and tried them out as soon as they arrived. Very poor absorbency. Undaunted, I read the reviews and saw the vinegar hack and tried washing with vinegar. Unfortunately not much has changed. Absorption was still very poor. For example, I would have to wipe the kitchen towel 10 times in the same spot across

HEAVY DRY TOWEL

-Very heavy for a flour sack cloth. Use burlap cloths for flour. So it's fun! I was looking for a lighter white material this size for a project I was working on so they didn't fit, but now I have some very good drying towels. Indeed, these are very high quality towels. and can be used for nurnous projects and crafts. Not only are they great for drying. Pinterest has a lot of great ideas and these would be the towels you want to use for these projects. personal experiences and product opinions…

Beautifully embroidered

I bought these embroidered kitchen towels for several gifts. I was overjoyed when I received them. The material quality is amazing. Due to their size, I have divided each individual towel into sets of 4, which is still more than enough to use. Basically I can make 28 kitchen towels from one order. At $22 for a set of 7, this is a great deal, especially considering the quality of these towels. They wash well and have a slight vintage crease. Good looking but adds delicacy to these towels. Will…

and I have a good memory for fabric

That's only three stars unless the material is "recycled cotton" it would be four stars. The term "recovered cotton" means shredded cotton scraps that are added to fresh cotton to be pulled out before spinning, resulting in scruffy, much less coarse cotton (you won't see it until you hold it up to the light). I bought these on the recommendation of another reviewer here at Revain, who seems to have found that most of the "bags of flour" on offer are real junk. They will, but as far as I can…

There's a frude who knows exactly where his towel is.

I don't know what has happened over the years but everything I have looked at/bought in the last 6 years (from Walmart to Williams-Sonoma) is thin and transparent. It's been so long since I've seen a quality flour sack towel so I had to find one of the towels I bought 12 years ago (which is still in use) to compare. I bought - and I bought a lot. I've used flour sack towels - both cheap and expensive - for the last 12 years for everything you can think of around the house. Drying, cleaning…
