Our house has mostly wood floors and tile so I was happy to find these socks. Unfortunately, my nearly 13-year-old Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix has three paw sizes: the back paws are fairly decent, one front paw resembles a Basset Hound, and the other front paw is a normal size for a 42-inch dog. pound dog. She can sit on a wooden floor without pushing her front paws forward. She figured out how to take the velcro off in 24 hours so I don't use her. However, she leaves her socks and does not chew them at all. If they come off, it's because they're stuck to the mat. I tried on the sturdier booties we had from our previous dog, but she took them off after a few moments. The socks don't seem to bother her. Overall I would recommend these socks for indoor use. The difficulty lies in finding the right size.
