Review on ⏰ Youngtown 12888 Snap-in Type Continuous Sweep Quartz Clock Movement with 4.5mm Hour Shaft Length and 8mm Total Shaft Length (A Hands) by Javein Harvey

My old mantel clock needed a new movement, but the Shen Bang HD-1688 movement was nowhere to be found. After carefully measuring the 1688, I found that the Youngtown 12888 Snap In is a very similar size. So I prayed and ordered it. It came quickly and exactly as ordered. I couldn't use the arms that came with it (they were too long) but I was able to install my old arms and they fit almost perfectly. So good that it actually worked perfectly and I am very satisfied. The moral is to measure a few times (preferably with a digital caliper) and read the fine print, and one of the Youngstown gears will definitely fit.
