HOHOHOMERRYMERRY!: Thermals

Having returned to New England after more than thirty years in the West, I was looking for some warm winter thermals to sleep in. I tried women's, children's and men's models made of acrylic, wool, cotton and mixed fabrics. I have tried all sizes and colors. Even silk. Most of them were either too heavy, too light, or balled up and made me sweat in bed (not in a good way). They all looked ridiculous too. I was about to give up and try flannel nightgowns this year when I saw them in an ad. They came in BLACK - always a good choice - and they were cotton! Now we all know that when camping or in humid climates, cotton is not the best choice. In Massachusetts, however, with long winters, steam heating, and blazing fireplaces, these purchases turned out to be the pajamas I dreamed of. Are they suitable as a layer for sports and outdoor activities? Probably no. Stick to synthetics and blends for more technical purposes. But for snuggling under the covers and wintering in the dark for hours, Buzzer Thermals hit the mark. From a non-stinging waistband and underarm seams to an odor-free fabric that stands up to washing and drying, these winter underwear are gender-friendly. (Ignore the bow tie, it's made well enough for boys to easily access, but doesn't "open and close" or let in drafts, which is great for all genders.)
