This is a great budget 1080p monitor. I use it as a secondary monitor to help with multitasking and also connect my PS4 to it. There are obvious pros and cons to this monitor, but consider the price. Pros: Anti-glare matte finish Plenty of image adjustment options Blue Light Shift has multiple levels of adjustment to warm up the image when needed. Display (subjective) It doesn't have the widest viewing angles for an IPS panel (specified by the manufacturer in the question section). The included stand is a bit wobbly. All ports face downwards (subjectively). The monitor's pros speak for themselves, so I'll run through the cons. Although advertised as a 75Hz monitor, it runs at 60Hz in 1080p. But that may be due to the cheaper HDMI cable I bought for this monitor. The speakers don't have the best sound quality, but I wasn't expecting much for the price either. The speakers work well if you just want to hear something from the game, but I don't recommend them as the primary audio output. In the lower right corner (LED facing down) there is an LED that glows blue when a signal is received, flashes blue when the monitor is awake and waiting for a signal, and glows red when the monitor is off/ is at rest. As mentioned above, the seller answered a question about the panel and stated that it was an IPS panel. I also have an LG 27GL83A-B IPS monitor and the viewing angles are much better than the Specter. But think about the price here too. The included stand is a little wobbly, but I ended up installing this monitor so I kept the stand. This monitor does not include VESA mounting hardware, so make sure your monitor mount/stand has hardware, or purchase hardware. The power, HDMI, and VGA ports face down, so you may need 90-degree adapters for the HDMI ports to prevent cables from snagging. from the bottom of the monitor. One more note: the buttons on my monitor are horizontal, but still in the bottom right corner. GENERAL INFO: I did a little research before deciding on this monitor and I am very happy with my purchase. I have already recommended this monitor to other friends who are looking for a cheap 27" monitor and if I had to do it again I would still buy this monitor.
