Review on ⚙️ Mueller Backflow Preventer-Vacuum Breaker FBA_108-904RP by Justin Vasquez

This is the first backflow preventer I've used but I do a lot of gardening and the hose is always connected to the outside so I took someone's advice and bought it. I didn't know and didn't expect that the strong water mist would be regularly expelled from the periphery of the valve and hit my face right after installation :D. I think that's how the backflow preventer works. I assume it relieves the built up pressure. I will say that after installing it, every time I flushed the toilet or turned off the faucet, I heard a howling sound coming from the pipes in the house. It took me a few days of research online to find out that the backflow preventer causes this when the outer fitting stays on and creates a pressure difference between the outer hose and the inner pipe. I think it's harmless, but if your pipes whistle every time you use the water in your house, that could be the reason.
