Part is better then the original due to it being metal!

Received the part promptly with no problem.Part is better then the original due to it being metal!I like the idea of only replacing just the latch not the whole cable, did the work at -20 below.Biggest issue I had was getting the cover off to get at the old latch due to the cold.Installed the new latch with no issues.The work only took me a few minutes once the cover was off.

Pros

Replaced a broken one on my son's 04 Civic and it seems much nicer than the original plastic one.

Cons

May come loose during driving or offroading

Fits great in my 06 Honda Element. I used a hacksaw blade to carefully remove some plastic from previous handle. Very sturdy so far.
