This oiler is a beautifully crafted piece of porcelain stoneware with a smooth, earthy finish and is easy to clean. We leave it on the table with a stick of butter (that's its purpose) so we don't have to try to spread cold butter on the toast (which never works). It looks great on the table and its neutral earth tones suit almost any interior. Good buy. Five stars.
