I walk an hour every morning before sunrise on a mountain road with little traffic. I have used many different lamps over the years. I like this one best. It has three modes: bright, dim and strobe. I use the dim setting and charge once a week. It's comfortable and illuminates the path well enough to see tripping hazards. I pull off the road when a car comes up behind me, but I feel safer when the backlight lets drivers know I'm there. The on/off switch is easy to press even when wearing gloves. I would buy this again.
