I removed the bumper to install this camera on my C30 and it was a pretty easy process. The cables are long enough, the camera is generally of good quality. However, the instructions that come with it aren't very clear and I had to tweak the performance in a number of ways to make it work with my setup. I used an OEM foam grommet for the install and it seals well. The built in LEDs are cool white (my best guess is probably around 4800-5000K). I've been trying to find an LED that matches the other side as closely as possible, but the mismatch doesn't bother me too much as I still can't see it while driving. I actually opened mine to see if the LED could be re-soldered, but there is clear glue on the board to seal/waterproof it. When reassembling I added some more RTV silicone to cover the cable hole and rubber gasket as my unit didn't have the best gasket and I think the original gasket was pretty poor. You can buy RTV silicone at any hardware store, nothing fancy. In general, camera quality is good when subjects are close to the camera. Image quality looks a bit washed out when these objects are farther away, but I'd say you won't be using this for sunset photography anyway. Works great as a backup camera. This is a good camera, it's in a great form factor and is perfect for mounting on the C30. I'm giving the camera 3/5 stars for sealing/poor instructions but I'd say it's an easy 4.5/5 if you're the DIY type!
