Review on Logitech G502 HERO: High Performance Wired Gaming Mouse with 25K Sensor, RGB, and 11 Programmable Buttons by Jessica Jackson

Really well made mouse. Logitech did it!

I haven't used Logitech mice since they discontinued the G9. Since then I've been using the Roccat Kone XTD which died after serving me for over 5 years. After reading reviews of the G502 I decided to give it a try as I really liked the overall design and feel, it reminded me of the G9. New. Now that I've used it, I'm glad I did. The updated model has a very thick and flexible cable, which seemed to be the main disadvantage of the original 502. Add to this a truly amazing sensor that is very accurate and sensitive to the tiniest movements and marks on any surface (seriously, I've tried everything from white paper to the palm of my hand) and you have a potential winner. However, the best thing about this mouse is not the materials used, which also seem to be really nice and durable. easily accessible buttons are the best indicators. The keys themselves can be pressed very comfortably thanks to the spring mechanism. Last but not least is the scroll wheel. This. I could probably write a whole paragraph about this scroll wheel about how good it is. Not only does it have an endless mode that rolls nicely, but it's also made of METAL. This is a beautiful piece of metal that is simply better than plastic in every way. I don't think I can go back to plastic mouse wheels after using my G502. You may never use a 16000 dpi sensor, but if you've used the G502 and similar mice in the past and need an upgrade, the 502 upgrade is worth the money Logitech is asking for.
