Review on 🚽 Valterra SS01 RV SewerSolution Drainage Kit + 10' Hose & Accessories by Rick Rogers

I am new to camper vans and like many newcomers I was afraid to empty the black tank. In my opinion, nothing can be worse than the usual "smelly" large finned tubing! I don't care how long you flush that thing, it's gonna stink and be a mess! I've seen people have nasty problems with it. Sign up for Sewer Solution! Beautiful smooth transparent tube with a jet of water! And it works GREAT! The black tank will then turn gray and let the water run for a few more seconds and it's damn clean and ready to be rolled up and stuffed into a little cargo box. Unpacked after a few days in the heat = no stink! BUT although I'm a big fan of it. they flow! Luckily, Valterra sent a new head TWICE! Firstly, the bayonet did not lock, it turned slightly, which means that it was accidentally pulled out! The second worked well for almost 3 months of full use. Then it started to flow. This second one seems to have failed where the clear plastic is stuck to the gray. Bought a repair kit and a new 5" clear hose and it's still leaking. Grabbed the original on the left for backup and it pops where the metal hose coupler comes out. Now on the third but was forced to buy a pair of smelly spare pants. A real crap! WHY companies come up with BIG designs and then produce them as cheaply as possible! I would pay over $200 for an all metal version with a brass head that lasts forever! Confess guys! Made in China is gambling! You will make a first class prototype to present to the dealer and then start cutting rough edges and NO quality control! Valterra came up with a GREAT simple design that every RV should have, simply because it can push rubbish farther and uphill. But if they can't force the actual manufacturer to provide a working, reliable version, what's the point! You CANNOT leak! Leak = TOTAL FAILURE! Fix it or drop it off the assembly line!
