Review on Learning Resources Jumbo Jungle Animals by David Crowder

I bought 5 sets of jumbo animals (farm, jungle, forest, zoo, pets) and am very satisfied. Reviews over the last 8 years have been mixed and it looks like this is partly due to a change of manufacturer. After extensively researching animal figurines online, I decided to purchase the Learning Resources brand and am very glad I did. First let me say that these things are STRONG! They are very hard, rubbery, plastic, they need to be squeezed a little. Due to the considerable weight, the animals stand well and stay in place. They seem very durable. Second, yes they have seams. I'm no expert, but I can't imagine it's possible to mold a hollow plastic toy without a seam or hole. What's really cool is that they do NOT have a hole like most squeezable plastic toys. This is important as toys with perforations will get wet which can cause black mold and cannot be cleaned properly. While the stitching isn't exactly perfect, it makes for a waterproof toy that's thoroughly washable and safe to use in the bath. general shape. And I'm pretty sure my little granddaughter won't notice if the lion's eyes are a little crooked! Before purchasing I had doubts about whether these sets are too expensive, but I am very satisfied with the quality of the toys for the price. At $3-7 each, they are great value given the size and quality. Of the 27 animals I purchased, 1 had a noticeable uneven seam. It didn't compromise structural integrity so it wouldn't really be a problem, but I reached out to Learning Resources to see if they could supply a replacement. Your customer service was incredibly accommodating and shipped a new rabbit quickly. Buying toys online can be tricky so I wanted to share my experience hoping it will help others who are looking for quality toys. I highly recommend these jumbo animal sets and have found Learning Resources to make many quality educational toys.
